Sulaymaniyah and its suburbs

Sulaimaniya Museum: Located on Salem Street Sulaymaniyah city center, the museum includes many archaeological monuments and sculptures dating from ancient times experienced by the region, and is considered one of the largest and richest museums in the region.

National Museum (red security) built this building in the eighties of the last century to be Sulaimaniyah security department, it was one of the special places tortured many political prisoners and killed by henchmen of the former Iraqi regime, and tells the methods of torture practiced by the regime and campaigns of genocide against the Kurds Iraqis.

Lake Dukan Resort: Located Li lake 70 kilometers north-west of the city of Sulaymaniyah, and is one of the outstanding tourist resorts in the region thanks to the presence of Lake Dukan, where the scenic beautiful nature and where many of the hotels, restaurants and tourist homes.

Dberndakhan Dam: Located just 65 kilometers southeast of the city of Sulaymaniyah and includes numerous recreational facilities, restaurants, and tourist cabins hotels.

Ahmed Awa resort: Just 75 kilometers to the east of the city of Sulaymaniyah, this resort is situated amid a series of towering mountains, is one of the beautiful tourist facilities.
