The security of the region

The security situation in the region is quite different from the rest of Iraq, the official Guards of the province (Peshmerga) have been trained well and have experience in the provision of security and stability in the Kurdistan Region. There is full coordination between the security forces and the Peshmerga forces in the protection and defense of the region and to address any risk. As a step to take security measures and ensure the maintenance of stability and security in the Kurdistan Region has developed a number of checkpoints at the borders and the outskirts of cities and entrances.
